The college and their hired negotiator would like you to believe they want a fair deal for us. Last time at the bargaining table the college advised what a great deal the benefits formulary was going to be. If the formulary was such a good deal why aren’t the administrators currently on the formulary? Most of the other bargaining units who benefited from the formulary were shocked when they found out the real cost and what they actually lost–and spent most of this latest round of bargaining trying to get back what they lost. We want to remind you that we were one of the few support staff unions that did not allow any concessions at the last round of bargaining.

So before you believe the expensively written marketing they are publishing please remember we are the ones who have the experience and history at this institution. We tell the truth when it’s not popular but know it’s the right thing to do.
