On April 6, 2016 the VCC Board of Governors approved the 2016/17 budget that included increases for CUPE. So why are we hearing at the bargaining table that concessions are needed and VCC can’t afford the CUPE contract? Seems a bit delusional and punitive.

Especially as home internet is paid for by VCC for faculty…not that we begrudge our sister union this benefit but concessions and increasing deductibles to balance an already passed budget seems to be, dare we be repetitive…a bit delusional and punitive.
