Finally heard from the Employer that the Remote Working from home has been extended until at least May 15, 2020.
2nd Vice-President Lindsay Bourne and Chief Shop Steward are meeting with the Employer next week in regards to “Recovery Plans”.
Bargaining is set to resume on April 29, 2020.

Many members swiftly moved to providing alternative delivery of classes and services to students. The flexibility and commitment to your work has been inspiring.
We have members still at work on campus assisting everyone with alternative delivery of classes and services:
- Information Technology Team
- Facilities
A few other projects of note:
- Financial Aid is very busy assisting the distribution of emergency funding for students announced by the Ministry.
- The Food Services staff and Culinary IA’s are working on a project with the City of Vancouver preparing meals for distribution throughout the Downtown East Side (DTES).
