Through a Freedom of Information Request, we learned that Mark Brand Save On Meats was given $400,000 ($300,000 from VCC (unbudgeted) $100,000 from City of Vancouver) for a joint business venture for an Incubator Kitchen. This was not budgeted for under Kathy Kinloch’s administration and was done by the VCC Finance and Audit Committee of the VCC Board of Governors without public input or knowledge. More to come…
