Career Development Funds FY 2022/23
As per Article 20 Career Development (CD) of the Collective Agreement (CA) to support the development of employees in their careers there is $90,000 available.
- The fund is available to all temporary and permanent CUPE 4627 members.
- CD funds are provided in accordance with Article 20 of the CUPE 4627 CA.
- Request for CD Funds are submitted to cdrequests@vcc.ca
- Preapproval is required. Submit the form ; guidelines for the application process.
- All requests for CD must be employee-initiated.
- Requests for CD funds may include, but are not necessarily limited to, tuition fees, course material charges, travel expenses for conferences and convention registration fees. CD funds may be used in combination with other grants and funding disbursements available through the College and elsewhere.
- For fiscal year 2022/23 a maximum of $1,200.00 per CUPE 4627 member is available.
- The CD funds are reviewed periodically and should there be funds remaining toward the end of the fiscal year further monies may be allocated to individuals who have reached the maximum.
